Join us for a special Holiday Couples Retreat on Saturday, Dec. 10
Put the *SPARKLE* back in your relationship!
According to the American Psychological Association, nearly three-quarters of Americans say they experience increased stress levels during the holidays. Anxiety about money, gift giving, and visiting family can bring tension into our relationship with our partner. That is precisely why the Texas AgriLife Extension Service and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church is partnering to bring you this special HOLIDAY COUPLES RETREAT on Saturday, December 10 – 8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.
All married couples as well as those seriously considering marriage are invited to attend this retreat in the parish hall of St. Stephen’s Church, 2041 Trinity St. in Liberty. Led by professional facilitators and featuring the Active Marriage and Best Practices curriculum produce by the Active Relationships Center (ARC)*, this program is packed with “how to’s” for what really works in marriage. The session includes discussion and interactive activities centering on healthy communication, conflict resolution, managing emotions, financial teamwork, negotiating the challenges of extended and blended families, and insights into keeping love alive long-term.
The registration is only $15.00 per couple, and includes workbooks and all materials, breakfast and lunch. Payment may be made in advance or at the door on the day of the retreat. There is room for only 15 couples, so make your reservations right away by calling the Texas AgriLife Extension office at 936-334-3230 or St. Stephen’s Church at 936-336-3762.
