School is almost out, so let's celebrate with Paintball & Miniature Golf!

School's (almost) Out Party! Saturday, May 22-In thanksgiving for our Acolytes and for all of our young people, Fr. Ted invites all the kids and kids at heart to join him for one of two special events. For young people 12 and older (11 year olds are eligible if accompanied by a parent-these are the facility rules, not ours), we'll be playing paintball at Survival Games of Texas in Houston(near Humble). This is an awesome paintball park where you can shoot it out in an old wild west town or attack or defend a medieval castle. Fr. Ted will be playing the game too, so if you want to "take a shot at your priest" then you won't want to miss this! The younger ones will be enjoying 3D black light miniature golf at Shankz in Humble. The games will be paid for by the church, so no money is needed. We will meet at the church at 10:00 A.M.and have a brief acolyte refresher training (if you are not an acolyte, you should be! Just hang out and watch), then we'll have pizza for lunch in the parish hall and leave for the games at 11:30 A.M.You may invite one friend to come along if you like, and we will be back at the church around 3:30 P.M.Call the church office at 936-336-3762 if you are going to participate, we need a head count. We also need adults to drive and chaperone. Please call the church office at 936-336-3762 if you can help. Let's show our kids we love them and appreciate them! Be at the church by 11:30 A.M.or join us for lunch at 11:00.

You must attend the training to participate in the games, so be at the church promptly at 10:00 A.M.  The earlier we get started the faster we can get to the fun stuff!
