Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is organizing a conference to provide professional and non-professional caregivers or anyone interested in the skill building and informative workshops that will be offered on November 2, 2012 along with Entertainment, Exhibitors, Vaccines, Screenings, and more! This event will be held at First Baptist Church, located at 602 North Main in Liberty, TX.
The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. with registration and light refreshments. The Key Note Speaker will kick off the event at 8:45 a.m. followed by FREE session opportunities focusing on a variety of topics, such as Diabetes, Memory, Respiratory Therapy, Home Health, Hospice, Medicaid/Medicare, Stresses of Care Giving, Legal Matters and Financial Planning topics and more!
A professional track will be offered by Odyssey Hospice for clinical and related professionals to gain Continued Education Units (CEUs). The cost for each professional session is $15. Topics that will be covered in the professional track include Death & Dying, Inappropriate Behavior, Cultural Diversity and Stress Management.
The conference will conclude at 3:00 p.m.
We recommend you make your reservation by filling out and submitting a registration form to the Extension Office located at 501 Palmer Ave. in Liberty, TX or fax to (936) 336-4565, so we can meet space and food needs!
