It may change the way you look at Christmas forever

We all want our Christmas to be a lot of things. Full of joy. Memories. Happiness. What we don't want is stress. Or debt. Or feeling like we "missed the moment". In 2006 five pastors decided to make Christmas a revolutionary event by encouraging their communities to Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More and Love All. The response was overwhelming and the Conspiracy was born. Advent Conspiracy has grown into a nation-wide movement designed to help us all slow down and experience a Christmas worth remembering. But doing this means doing things a little differently. And creatively. You are invited to join us each Wednesday evening from November 28th through December 19th for the Advent Conspiracy, an event that will turn your Christmas upside down, and maybe even change your life. A children’s program is included for ages 5 and up, so bring the kids. The evening begins with a light supper at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program, and concludes with a brief worship service. To register for the Advent Conspiracy, or to learn more about the program, call the church office at 936-336-3762, or email Father Ted Smith at
